Hi Gabor, I haven't looked into this too closely, but a few changes as of late that can be relevant. (btw, I'm seeing 65 here) * Excluding servers version 1.0.10 and before * The change to use hostname reported in status page as basis, which removed quite a few duplicates, and two -- three keyservers removed due to lack of FQDN in that hostname. * Using a dynamic inclusion criteria based on stddev of the servers * Updating the pool more frequently, it now updates every two hours (why is it relevant that it is updating more frequently? Since SKS version 1.1.2 the statistics calculation can be updated more frequently by using "pkill -USR2 sks || exit 1" in e.g. a crontab. Which means that servers not doing this at times will lag behind in keys and be excluded -- you'll notice that this changes throughout the day, the further away from the regular scheduled statistics update of the older versions) In addition it seems that a few keyservers that used to be in the pool are lagging in keys. (Ptree corruptions?) But in the end , whether it is 45, 65 or 105 I don't necessarily care, as long as there are enough to provide good results to the pool. - -- - ---------------------------- Kristian Fiskerstrand http://www.sumptuouscapital.com Twitter: @krifisk - ---------------------------- Corruptissima re publica plurimæ leges The greater the degeneration of the republic, the more of its laws - ---------------------------- This email was digitally signed using the OpenPGP standard.
