I have read all the posts in this thread and done my best to understand
them.  Some things I can't decipher, like

... which is, IMO, a case study in why standard English (of either the
US or UK varieties) should be used on this list when possible.  This is
not a personal attack, Simon: it's simply telling you that your
preferred method of writing is unclear and difficult to understand.

Further: I would remind to all parties that courtesy and respect are
important to the functioning of the keyserver community.  Comments such as

or

are ultimately damaging to the community, and will likely result in the
breaking of peering agreements.
