Hi ok here is the score. Let us say you are in a program that jaws has a command for. Jaws being the mother program is always going to get the command before skype. So what you should do here is define the skype command keys to functions that you know jaws is not going to use. Also some keyboard software messes with the ability of other software to use keyboard short cuts. If you have any such software installed try removing it and see if that helps.
