Hi ok here is the score. Let us say you are in a program that jaws has a
command for.
Jaws being the mother program is always going to get the command before
skype.
So what you should do here is define the skype command keys to functions
that you know jaws is not going to use.
Also some keyboard software messes with the ability of other software to
use keyboard short cuts. If you have any such software installed try
removing it and see if that helps.

Subject: [Skypeenglish] Hot keys holding

Hi list!

Well I've been using hot keys for quite a while now so I know how they work,

but here's a fairly new wrinkle. I've got hot keys assigned, but they don't
appear to stay remembered. The bigger problem is that I can't predict when
my assigned hot keys are going to fail to be recalled until they just don't
work when I issue them.

Using Skype 3.5 under XP SP2 with Jaws 8.0. This has only recently become an

issue. Any guesses as to how I can make them behave more reliably?

Cheers,
Dave
