Hi list, thanks to all of you who answered my queery about sending a long file by skype. after i booted up again, my friend said that according to his machine, he was still sending. i couldn't find that i was receiving, and after messing about for some time, i lost what i had. in the menus for skype, there is a resume box, to the right of tools, and a couple of arrows up. but mine said, that it was disabled. we will probably have to do it all over again, which is a pitty, as my friend has a very small band width. thanks again, brian.
