Hi Loren and list! I can answer a couple things.
There is never any cost for Skype to Skype calls, chats or transfers. Prices for calls and SMS messages varies both by where the number is located that you are calling or messaging and by the terms of the service you have purchased. For example, I am in New Zealand and I have purchased Skype out and Skype Pro. You must purchase Skype out credit in order to reach anything outside of Skype. The exception to that is calls to toll free numbers in the US, UK or other countries which may allow incoming calls from Skype. These are few. My calls to US telephone numbers are charged at the rate of 1.7 Eurocents per minute against my Skype credit balance. Since I have Skype pro, which costs ?2.50 per month, my calls to New Zealand numbers are charged a connection charge for the call, regardless of how long the call lasts. From memory, I believe this charge is around 4 Eurocents. That should be most of what you wanted to know. Hope it helped.
