Feed: Heartbeat Posted on: Friday, January 11, 2008 11:20 AM Author: Heartbeat Subject: North American users of Skype Pro no longer affected by six-second dropped calls Recently, about 1,300 Skype Pro users in North America have been affected by a bug in our billing system. When calling landlines or cell phones, these users have seen their calls being disconnected after six seconds. As of 6.20 AM EST today, the problem has been fixed. There is never a good time for our users to run into a problem like this. We understand your frustration and we are very sorry. To help our relationship get back on track, we?ll begin sending emails to each known affected Skype Pro user with an electronic voucher that can then be redeemed for 10 dollars in Skype credit. In case you wish to discuss the specifics of your case, please write an email to HYPERLINK "mailto:sixsecondcalls at skype.com"sixsecondcalls at skype.com and someone from the Skype team will get in touch with you soon. Meanwhile, we promise to become more vigilant in the future, in working to nip similar problems in the bud, wherever they may try to manifest themselves. May your Skype conversations live long and prosper. HYPERLINK "http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/SkypeHeartbeat/~3/215154833/north_american_users_of_skype.html"View article...
