This would actually be a script issue. I create something called a
Scripting.FileSystemObject, possibly pronounced more like
scripting.filesystemobject, as part of the semi-automatic SkypeWatch
maintenance described in the release notes on my web site.

I'm wondering, though, why an attempt is being made to create that
object as you're shutting down. Is this on Vista by any chance?

First of all, I just want to say that I'm very happy with these scripts. As
always, Doug has done a great job on them,
and I appreciate all the hard work he puts into them. I have noticed a small
problem with the scripts. This problem
doesn't interfere with their operation, but I thought I'd bring it up, just to
see if anyone else is experiencing this
issue.

As I stated, the scripts perform as they should, and I have no problems with
the functionality of them. The problem
that I am experiencing, only comes up when I shut down my computer. As I'm
shutting down, I get an error message that
says something like: unable to create script file system.system object. I'm
not quoting the message exactly, because it
goes by too fast, and I haven't figured out a way to capture it. The only
reason I thought the skype scripts caused
this message to come up, ws because installing these scripts was the only
recent change I made to my system. I
uninstalled the scripts to see if that would fix the problem, and it did. As
soon as I re-installed them, I started to
notice the same behaviou. This really isn't an issue for me, since it only
occurrs at shut down, but I thought I'd
write to the list, just to see if anyone else is experiencing this problem.

I'm using Jaws 8 on a windows xp pro machine, with 4 gb of ram and a dual-core
2.4 ghz processor.
