Hello everyone on this list, this is Gary Price here.
When you answer a Skype call, you are placed in the
Skype window meaning the window that says Skype
followed by your Skype name. What I tend to do is
leave the computer alone when it is in the Skype
window, so I can talk to the other person.
This works fine in a single Skype call, I do not have
any problems at all. However when anyone starts a
conference call with me and the Skype window is open,
the same thing happens but in 2 different ways:
JAWS comes up with an error message telling me that
the application file has encountered a problem and
needs to close. The 2 ways it happens are it comes
strait up in my face like someone adding you to there
Skype contact list. The second way is where my
computer starts dinging at me and then after a while
the error message comes up.
If I shut the Skype window so that it goes into the
system tray, everything seems fine. Any ideas or
suggestions on how to solve this would be really
appreciated, because this is driving me mad!
Also, I would like to give the SkypeWatch feature a
try. I have been on the website, and followed the
procedure to install it, which I have managed
successfully. But there is one part of it I can?t
understand the maintenance part. The part I cannot
understand is:
Copy default.jsb in the shared folder to
default_fs.jsb in the user folder. Please could
someone tell me how this is achieved?
