I understand the problem now. Let's see if we can make this easy.
1. Open the shared user folder.
2. Find the default. JSb file and copy it to the clipboard.
Three. press Alt+f4.
4. now go to the desktop and paste the file you have copy.
5. Highlight the file you have copied and press F2. Rename it as described
in the documentation from the website.
 6. Cut the file you have renamed to the clipboard with control+x.
7. Open your user settings folder.
8. paste the file you have cut here, use control+v to do this.
I hope this helps.

Subject: Clarification for you.

Hello Jim, this is Gary here.

Yes I do know how to copy files in windows. What is
getting me in the procedure on the website is that it
tells you to put a copy of default.jsb in the shared
folder which I can do and then change its name to
default_fs.jsb.

Now then in the maintenance part of the procedure it
says:
Copy default.jsb in the shared folder to
default_fs.jsb in the user folder. It is the wording
and how to do this that is really getting me.

Would you like some more information on that strange
error? Well I'll try to explain it as best as I can.

As you probably know, when you answer a Skype call be
a single one or a conference one, you are placed in
the Skype window as I call it. By this I mean the
window that says Skype trademark followed by your
Skype name. What I tend to do is leave the Skype
window open when I am talking.

This works fine in a single Skype call, I don't have
any problems. However when anyone starts a conference
call, and I leave the Skype window open, JAWS starts
playing up. It comes up with a message telling me
that the application file has encountered a problem
and needs to close.

There are 2 different ways in which that message can
come up: the first one is where it just comes strait
up in my face. The second one is where my computer
starts dinging at me and then after a while the
message comes up.
This only happens in Skype and only in a conference
call with the Skype window open.

I hope all this makes sense, if it doesn't feel free
to add me to your contacts and give me a call. I am
online now. My Skype name is:
Gary.price35

Kind regards

Gary Price.
