Perhaps you might consider turning off the quick navigation keys while you're in this form. I've seen exactly this same thing happen to me when I was registering my copy of Trend Micro. I mean exactly the very same thing. You can always turn on quick navigation keys again when you're done. Quickest way to get there, if you're in a web page like environment is to press insert+v then go down to quick navigation keys and press space to turn it off. This is just temporary, but, it should solve your problem.
