>From what I can gather, there's nothing for 3.8. basically, whoever sent you this email could have mistakenly thought there was something for 3.8, but there might be some illegal "hotfix" or something floating around on the net. The thing is that unless it's from a list like this, if you get an email informing you about some new version, it's probably not valid. Check the Skype website and the blog for info, and also check sites like Beta News for info. If nothing shows up anywhere on those sites, ignore it. I have never missed a beat doing so myself, and I can tell you, I just was on the Skype site trying to track down the hotfix info, and there's nothing about any hotfix for 3.8.
