The what you here box is int eh record properties under his sound card. Make sure that that check box is checked under options then oroperties. See the tutorial number 14, the supplement. Hi, ask him to go to the options dialogue box in Skype (tools, options), and look at the settings in the audio category. A useful check box, "let Skype adjust my audio settings" may need to be unchecked, as well as setting his microphone as the default device.
