Well this is off topic so I will try to say very little about it accept this. letting the system manage it will use what is needed. This means if it should ever need more it will use it. The way you are doing this is once it is full that is it and you will start having crashes etc. change it back to letting the system manage it and invest in a flash drive. Hth
