Hello Alistair,
I would suggest that you use skype version 3.8 as version 4.0 is a beta version 
and totally different too. The scripts for jaws, version 653 will work 
perfectly with skype 3.8 and the latest version of jaws. You can find them at
www.dlee.org/skype.
