Jim, I contacted Doug Lee and asked about the Skype 4 beta. He told me he was working with the folks at Skype and that, since Skype 4 is in the beta process, there aren't any scripts yet. I concluded from his E-mail that the final release would be accessible.
Also, there is a discussion at Skype.com that openly says that Skype 4 is not accessible. Y As frustrating as it is, for me as well, you might consider staying with the latest 3.8 version. Its accessibility isn't perfect, but, it is usable. I hope I've been helpful.
