The lists should read with or without scripts for the most part. Some items in conversations don't have MSAA yet though, such as voicemails, file transfers, and contact detail requests. I did not script much special reading of lists so far though, so I doubt they work better with scripts than without.
It's good to see people finding the scripts unnecessary actually, as this means the native accessibility is improving.
