I don't at all recall where the time stamp check box is on Skype 3.1, but I 
would thoroughly recommend her upgrading to Skype version 3.8 with scripts 
version 653.  And seeing that you are a close friend, maybe you could walk 
her through the setup?  The audio alone, is by far way way worth it.
