I set up Skype 4 a couple of days ago and even made a test call to see that it was working. However, to my great surprise, when I tried to use the Skypeout facility to call my niece in Tampa I couldn't even get a sound from the telephone at the other end.
Fortunately, nobody was at home so I used some rather strong language to vent my anger about the whole Skype affair and, would you believe it, I felt a lot better after that. I have now reinstalled Skype Version 3.8X, installed the JFW653 scripts and all is well. Now that everything is working so far, I will wait until you, the experts, give the green light to use Skype 4. Regards. Francis Khan
