Hi all, I think this has been discussed before but none of the answers seem to help me in my current situation. I've ben using the skread program for about 2 years now with good success. Recently I contracted a virus and then got rid of it. Since that time I can no longer launch this program. I tried downloading skype and also deleting it from Add/Remove programs. I then ran the program again. No luck. I am running JAWS 10 beta, XP Service pack 3.
Shawn Randall has redesigned his web site, and this program does not appear to be there, so I can't download it over again. My guess is that I may have a file missing somewhere, but don't know how to fix this problem. I still get the following error Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library Runtime Error! Program: ...ettings\Larry Gassman\Desktop\downloads\Skype\skread.exe This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information. OK Any ideas? Larry
