I'm just getting home from the NFB convention, and as a very brief
power outage at my home last Friday flipped out my router and caused
me to lose access to mail from then until now, I had to catch up
with a lot of emails I hadn't seen yet. I'll give brief answers
to issues raised regarding Skype 4.1 and the 4.1 scripts in this
message.

First, SkypeWatch not reporting your status changes: This was a bug,
and I had not tested for it. I have fixed this for the next script
release.

Someone remarked that the Select Emoticon feature is no longer usable
in the 4.1 scripts. It should be usable, but I have a mind to rewrite
that command to use the actual emoticon names provided by Skype
itself, thus allowing automatic localization. This is not done yet
though. If Skype would implement the emoticon panel as a list instead
of something you tab through, the script would no longer be needed at
all. I have already brought that to Skype's attention as well.

About finding out the last login time/date of a contact: Sadly we
lost that a long time ago and have not gotten it back. I have
mentioned that one but not pushed it nearly as hard as other things
like access to voicemail from the keyboard. In technical terms, the
MSAA AccHelp property for contacts was lost in 4.0 and did not come
back in 4.1, and that property contained the last online info. I
don't actually know if sighted people can get that information now.

About the "unknown function call" messages when virtualizing chat
messages: This was a problem in earlier beta script versions for
Skype 4.1 but should be fixed in the latest beta version I made
available. If someone is getting this in beta3, please let me know.

At least one person reported having difficulty getting back to the
Contact list after ending a call. If Ctrl+1 or Ctrl+2 doesn't work,
try the other one and then the one you want. I have seen Skype
require this sort of wake-up call from time to time.

Finally, apologies to anyone whose inquiry I missed and which was not
already answered by someone else. I have a few messages I am about to
answer individually though.
