I am not sure that I understand what you mean, Darrel, but when I click on "call phone" and the edit field opens up, I simply type the number, hit enter and it dials. Now, if the system I am placing the call too, requires to press 1, 2 or some number, or even requires I dial an extension, all I do is type it using the keyboard right where it is, and it does the job.
