I think you're missing my point then, based on what you just wrote. Had I done as you suggest, and included the SkypeWatch installer in the latest Skype script release, we would have had at least two times since my release when the release file on my site would have to change in order to include updates from Hrvoje. This would make people wait for both Hrvoje and me when he has to change something. The way it is now, people can get updates when I put them out and when he puts them out, without having to wait for both of us.
As for making things easier, you can keep the SkypeWatch installer on your machine until it changes if you like, so you never have to download anything for that unless it changes. This is probably a subject over which not everyone will agree though. I may simplify things a bit more by adding a link to Hrvoje's site from the page where you download releases of the Skype scripts.
