Skype 4.1 is already as useable if not for so then skype 3.8. Skype watch is part of the skype scripts for jaws that will allow you to read skype events without skype being focused. Skread is a standalone program that does the same using the sapi and is no longer being updated. If you are a jaws user the best thing for you to do is get skype 4.1 and the latest scripts for it. Yes skype 3.8 will run on windows 7 it is not recommended because of some issues with that earlier version and windows 7. Hello guys! I have been hearing about Skype Scripts (Dlee's), SkypeRead, and Skype Watch. What are they all used for and how can they be used together or why should one be used over the other? I heard on this list I think that Skype 38 will not be supported in W7. Is this true? I am keeping one XP machine so I guess I am ok there with 38, but my notebooks and new desktops all have vista and may go to w7 so I guess I must upgrade skype too. Maybe the scripts should do for skype like windows does; that is, always have or support a classic view. I think winamp uses this approach too. Anyway, thanks for answering my questions.
