Blocking someone on skype is slightly different from blocking someone on MSN messenger. On skype, when you block someone, this person indeed sees you as "offline" but the minute you unblock this person, you appear to them as not having shared details with them. I can't understand why the blocked contact is still able to call you though, there is something wrong there as this should not happen. Anyway, even if you remove them from your list, you will still be on their list unless of course they remove you. If blocked, the contact will simply not be able to contact you, theoretically anyway unless there is something wrong with skype 4 which of course I can't be sure as I still use old 3.8.
