I downloaded SkypeTalking today, and I am using it successfully
on a Windows
XP computer with JAWS 10. What an excellent program it is!
One thing I would like to know, Hrvoje, is whether we will have
to quit
SkypeTalking to change settings when this program has a
configuration wizard
in the future. I kept forgetting to quit it before changing some
of my
settings in the skypetalking.ini configuration file, and I
learned the hard
way that settings didn't change until I shut down SkypeTalking
and restarted
it again. Being able to change settings in SkypeTalking, without
having to
quit SkypeTalking, would definitely be an added bonus in an
already very
good program.
Thank you, Hrvoje, for developing this excellent new program. I
have been
using Skread since hlast year, after SkypeWatch stopped working
properly
with one of the Skype 4.0 betas, but now that I can use
SkypeTalking with
JAWS I plan to stick with it. I agree with someone else who
posted to this
list, though, that it will also be very useful to be able to get
SkypeTalking to repeat the last thing it said, something I often
found
useful when using Skread.

I think this Skype Talking is excellent! I'm testing it out with
Skype
4.2 Beta and JAWS 11, and it's telling me more than SkypeWatch!

initially first had an error when launching the program. It
turned out I
had to launch Skype first then the Skype Talking application.
Can I ask,
will I need to do this all the time? And if so is there perhaps
a more
automated way of doing this?
Just testing it really to see if I can recommend it to others.
So far so
good! It's only telling me status changes at the minute, but
then again
I am on invisible so dont expect much activity<smiles>.
Also this will be very useful as I plan to use Skype a lot more
once my
better half is settled into her new flat, something we can
discuss
elsewhere<smiles>.
