first, i want to thank those who have worked on the skype talking. i'm using
it all the time with skype.
also, i want to thank those who have tireless worked on the scripts for
skype. i apreciate everybody's efforts.
i'm using skype 4.1 . i have no intention of upgrading until there is a
fully functional skype that's usuable for screen readers.
once again, to all who have worked on skype talking, and scripts, thanks. i
use them regularly.

Hello listers,
I apologize in advance if this has alread been recommended, but I do not
remember exactly.
First of all, a huge thanks to Gianluca Apollaro who gave me this info.
Coming to the point, if you see that your CPU gets very slow in Skype 4.2
usage, especially in scrolling on the contact list, it's strongly
recommended that you first go to Contacts / Hide contacts that are
submenu,
and check all the voices here. Meaning, re-open this menu and press enter
on
each voice till all are checked. This helped me a lot to fix that
problem,
which at first attempt caused me to downgrade to 4.1.
