Well I installed skypetalking and it seems quite nice. I just hope that
with the next update of skype, all this access doesn't go away so the folks
doing the development don't have to go back to the drawing board every time.

Hi Dan!
That is about all the scripts now do except for giving you a few useful
keyboard shortcuts and slightly more reliable navigation within Skype.
They should also identify whose calling you, or at least mine did running
4.2 beta.
If you need to know that contact X just signed in, or their status has
changed to away, etc. thenyou will need to get Skype Talking, which is
another utility.
Even when running all this stuff, there are accessibility gaps, but you
are certainly better informed by them than without them.

I have two questions.
I have recently installed the latest skype with the latest Jaws scripts,
and I notice that skypewatch tells me if I'm on line or away but nothing
else. I can tell when other users come on line because I hear the sound.
also, If I go into skype help and click about to see what version I'm
running, Jaws doesn't read it even with the Jaws cursor. It just says
something like "about splash" this is in compact view, but I haven't
tried changing the view.
Can I get some help with this?
