hi, to select all text for removal. press control+shift+alt+m. this will open the mood change dialog. now press control home to get to the top of this edit box. now press control+shift+end to select all the text. now press delete. type your new text and press enter. note these are standard windows commands for working with edit boxes. you will note that if you issue the context key here that select all control+a is disabled for this edit box. something that maybe should be fixed?

Usually I can select it by pressing control A and then delete to erase the older message to put a new message in but I can't seem to do that with skype talking. I can only do that manually when I click on the link of my name and then tab to mood text and press enter. How would I go about this. Would I just have to backspace until the textbox is empty and then write the new mood message or is there a keystroke I can use to clear the textbox.
