Hi George!
Look in the advanced recording properties for a +20DB boost or something
similar. That should fix things.

When placing a call in Skype, Skype tells me that the volume is too low,
and
that my callers may not be able to hear me. True enough, when I call
myself, I cannot hear the Skype portion of the call.
I've checked my volume settings, and all are at 100% and none are muted.
The microphone and speakers are working fine, too.
Any help would be appreciated.
