probably what was going on is Skype was not seeing the screen reader flag.
if this happens again try closing Skype your screen reader then restart the
screen reader then restart Skype. also remember that if you have this
problem again or just want to use the alternative contact list you can use
the Skype talking contacts manager alt+shift+ctrl+f11.
