Hi Wayne, Sarah and list. As far as I know, the caller ID feature has to
do
with having your Skype In number displayed when calling a landline or
mobile
phone from Skype. It's a box you need to check in your account settings,
and there are no extra costs involved apart from the amount you pay for
the
privilege of having the Skype In number. I'm using it myself with great
success.

Hi Wayne,
It's only the cost of two sms messages to the phone number that you want
displayed. You'll have to get sighted help if you don't have a phone that
reads those messages. Here's what you do.
1. When prompted, enter the phone number you wish to appear when you call
people.
2. Shortly thereafter, you'll get a text to that number displaying a code
which you also have to enter, when prompted.
3. Once you've entered the code, you'll get a confirmation sms to the
number
you'll use as ID (this can be ignored) and you're service is set up.

I was just reviewing the various items under, My Account and I ran into
this
following heading:
Display your number when calling phones
I reviewed the info and it looks as though we can now have a number
displayed to people we are calling on their phones when we make the call
from Skype. Has anyone used this service? I don't see anything about an
additional cost but, as we know, some things are invisible to us.
