hi Doug,
ever think about working with window-eyes and Skype? you could make an app
that would do all the things Skype talking does work with the user interface
and you would not even have to make an installer because window-eyes would
handle it for you. with your vast Skype experience already I am sure that
you would make a lovely addition to window-eyes and its support for Skype.
thanks!

Kind words indeed. :)
For the record though, I don't even think of the Skype scripts as
"competition" to Skypetalking. They serve similar, overlapping, but
ultimately different purposes: Skypetalking works for all screen
readers, uses the Skype API, and worrks with a wider range of Skype
versions all at once. The scripts just make life easier for JAWS
users who keep up with Skype releases, so they don't have to deal with
two interfaces to use one program.

Dear friends, just an hour a go i have downloaded and installed doug lee's
latest script for skype 5.1 and 5.2. After reading the details and
installing that script, I came to the following conclusion: We were using
skypetalking, because we thought that skypewatch doesn't give us full
information, such as call duration file transfer etc. Today is the good day
for me, because doug lee has given somethings for which I have been using
skypetalking. To me i think that it is good compitition has started. hope
that at the result of that compitition, at the end of the day we will have
good products from both of them. I simply would like to salute both of them
for their hard works. In short I can to Doug Lee to keep it up. We are with
you preying for you for the best of luck. With regards. From
