hi,
first we will do the obvious. open the Skype main window. now go to tools
buy pressing alt+t.
now press the letter o to open the options dialog. you will be in a tree
view of sections for the options dialog. the option you are looking for is
hot keys.
this option is the last option in the tree view. so we can get to it
quickly buy just pressing the end key.
now when you press tab, you will see a check box that reads Enable keyboard
shortcuts make sure that the check box is checked.
now press tab again this list has the hot keys and the keys assigned to
them. these are in a list view but are also check boxes so you select the
check boxes with the arrow keys and change the state of the check box with
the space bar. your looking for hang up call. make sure that it is checked
and that the key you think it should be is the one assigned.
if the key is not correct tab once to the Change selected shortcut button.
here in the first edit box press the page down key. now tab to the prefixes
check box and check alt leaving the rest unchecked. now tab to ok press the
space bar and then tab to save and press the space bar.
