He has compact view enabled and all accessibility options are checked. He
could be in a Skype call with one person, and it slows him down majorly
after a few minutes. The lag got so bad at one point to where Skype
overloaded his processor.

Then there are some things I recommend him to do:
1. enabling compact view, if he wants to have separate chat windows as was
in Skype 3.8 and earlier. To do this, go to the view menu, and press down
arrow till you find "Compact mode", then enter;
2. check accessibility features, by going to tools menu, accessibility,
and making sure both voices are checked. If one is not, press enter to
activate it and go back to Skype;
3. disable Skypes automatic starting with Windows, it's a checkbox in the
general options. This is because Skype starts faster than JAWS, and this
may confuse Skype in thinking there is no screen reader active, which
makes Skype difficult or impossible to use.
