It takes me a while to catch on, so please don't get mad with my question. I
am using Pamela for Skype. Does this mean at the end of December I won't be
able to use it any more? Too bad if that's the case.

I expect any program that brings up an "Allow this program to access
Skype?" dialog to die by the end of 2013. Programs that use Skype
itself, in other words, will die. Programs that replace Skype and are
