Hi all - Just arrrived here.
I wanted to delete a Skkype account because my Skype name didn't look the way I wanted it. It would seem that you can't really remove an account, but having read the help pages in Skype, it was suggested to just change the profile data so that it contained junk characters, and then create another account. I'm using a MacBook Air with Voice Over, and clicked the edit button next to the password tab, and this brought up edit fields for full name, phone number, more about me, email address etc. In the help pages it said not to make these fields blank, as blanks can not be saved, so to just put in some junk characters. I did this, and clicked the save button. I then signed back in, and everything was as it had been before, none of my changes had taken effect. Am I missing something here?
