you can download the jaws scripts for Skype 6.18 and later which will work with
Jaws 12 thru 16 at:
http://www.dlee.org/skype/skype618.php
there is no need to uninstall Jaws16 in order to use these scripts.

Good morning Steve,
I confess: I was not properly documenting downloads when it came to
installing Skype last year.
If I promise to never make that mistake again could you or someone please save
me now from myself? LOL
Steve you were kind enough to give me a download link back to this older
version for Skype: 6.21.0.104
How can I also find the retro scripts to make Jaws speak this version
I currently have Jaws 16 on my machine but I would have no problem
uninstalling that and going back to Jaws 14 which I was happy with until Skype
changed recently and stopped working.
Any help is greatly appreciated,

First may I say I'm new to the group so if I'm sending this message the wrong
way please forgive me.
But I do agree with you.
I was very happily using Jaws 14 and It was working just fine with all my
other programs until last week when Skype upgraded and I couldn't get it to
work for me.
I was told to upgrade to Jaws 16 which I did do and now my older reliable
software that I have used for years isn't working right either.
This is interfering with my ability to get my paying work done.
How do I get an older version of Skype back on my machine?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated,

for people who are blind. They are a large enough company that they could

It still works but not with the newest version of skype.
Not sure what will hapen in the future.
I need it for work and other things I am doing so I reverted back to an
earlier version of skype.
I could also use a sound editor but I don't want to use it for everything
when recording.
