I have been asking this same question, for more than a year, off and on, and
this is the first time I’ve seen it answered. Thanks, for asking BZ and Thanks
Marius, for giving the answer. Now, to the rest of the problem. Groove Music,
which is the default media player for Win 10 is too selective and doesn’t do
much, especially play spoken messages. Windows Media player does, but, it
disappeared from use and Groove Music took over again. Every time this
computer accepts a Microsoft update, I lose function. How do I get rid of
Groove and get Win Media Player as the default player. I have a lot of voice
messages awaiting me on Skype and won’t be able to hear them till WMP takes
it’s rightful position. Frank of another Paradise

Good morning, listers, Brian Zolo here from Gahanna, Ohio, USA, feel free to
call me BZ, grin! I've been a skype user for a number of years now and it's
been awesome to se how the program has improved over the years. One thing
that I'm still having problems with is playing voice messages. I used to
use skype talking to do this but since there hasn't been anymore development
of skype talking, what's the most efficient way to play voice messages.
Looking forward to making new friends and meeting old ones here as well.
Have a great day! BZ!

Hey there BZ! Hope to catch you on Skype soon.

Find the conversation that contains the voice message. If you're running
the JAWS scripts, press Ctrl+5 to get to the list of messages in that
conversation. Now use your up/down arrows to locate the item referring to
the voice message, and press Tab until you find the Play button.
