Are you really sure it gets stuck? It may simply compile really slow.
Check top etc to see what's going on. And sometimes it looks stuck as
compile output changes a little.
Ok, I rebooted the computer and got rid of those 'doxygen' processes and
everything is fine.
I don't know what they were but they seem to have been blocking something.
