The existing SlackBuild is just a repackaging of a binary release. The source code is available though - maybe someone wants to do a "from source" SlackBuild? I see there is also a version 1.5.4 available now (compared with 1.5.1 in SBo). Maybe it is more compatible with the newer fluidsynth. chris
