In general it causes webkit based browsers to fail to render with Nvidia drivers. E.g. epiphany, midori, or the mini browser that comes with webkit all fail to render anything other than a blank window with webkit2gtk-2.42.0 in combination with the nvidia driver blob. Not just yelp is affected.Maybe that wasn't clear from my original reply.
That is why we have this new version being tested on a separate branch for now. We won't be merging this soon enough. We might have to wait for upstream fixes before we merged this.
