All is good. with the new protobuf3-26, mumble-1.4.287 compiles and
runs on Slackware{32,64}-15.0
I did notice a message from protobuf3 that LIB_SUFFIX specified is not
used. libs appear to be sorted into /usr/lib and /usr/lib64 based on
arch correctly.
The scripts I posted to my branch should be good to go.
