The Slackware initrd uses its own build of busybox bundled within
the mkinitrd package, in /usr/share/mkinitrd/initrd-tree.tar.gz. What
we are discussing here is the SlackBuild offering, which is unrelated.
So far, most use-cases for busybox on a complete OS like
Slackware seem to benefit from static linking more than dynamic;
recovery, custom from-scratch initrd bundles, minimalist chroots.
I will keep static linking for now, seems the more useful option.
