I recently compiled version 1.20.17 of the viewer and everything is working great. However, when I run the compiled exe from the normal viewer installation folder, I get a warning about a version mismatch caused by FMOD. The warning is as follows: WARNING: LLAudioEngine_FMOD::init: Error : You are using the wrong FMOD version (3.74)! You should be using FMOD 3.75 When compiling my version of the viewer, I indeed used the latest FMOD 3.75 sources (which is the most recent v3 of FMOD). But the version of fmod.dll supplied by LL is version 3.74 (161280 bytes), so that explains the warning. However, JIRA entry VWR-1437 seems to suggest that LL was/is indeed using 3.75 of FMOD. So my question is: Why is LL now shipping a 3.74 version of the library? Did you convert back to using 3.74? And if so, should we be doing the same? Or have you just mistakenly shipped an old version of the dll with the viewer
Maybe this may be helpful: I can tell you (from peeking at the logs from my stream, http://orange.neostreams.info:12978/ ) that Mac (and probably Linux) listeners use FMOD 3.75 whereas most users (the Windows ones) use FMOD 3.74. I have no idea why that is.
