Anybody know how joystick affects the zoom?

And BTW, am I right in thinking this flycam zoom is more like adjusting a
real-world camera's focal-length, whereas the "mouse zoom" in llagent is more
like moving the camera's position?

I've been doing my usual plodding method of adding llinfos into the
lljoystickbutton.cpp code and it seems like when you turn on joystick mode, it
stops calling any of the functions inside joystickbutton. This is completely
not what I expected, and leaves me scratching my head where to turn next.

Can someone tell me where I've fallen off the bus? (I'm lost and I can't get
up.) (keep in mind, I'm a C++ newbie, so I'm probably missing the most obvious
thing)

(some background on what I'm trying to achieve: I want to make it possible to
use zoom within llfollowcam, which has a LSL parameter for it but as far as I
can tell doesn't do anything with it.)

Thanks to anyone,

Vector
