Hi folks, We had our first test sprint today. Seems to have gone pretty well, with the expected level of chaos. Here's the transcript: https://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Open_Source_Meeting/2009-05-28
We have a lot of different reporting mechanisms that people have been trying out. The one that seemed to work the best was the format that Melinda Latynina used: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-13748 Twisted Laws' higher level overview was also useful. If large sections truly are working, there's no sense in doing deeper reporting than that, so if you don't feel compelled to do microdocumentation, then don't. The big things to make sure you document: 1. Coverage: make it as clear as possible what tests you've run so far so that someone else coming along knows what still needs to be tackled. 2. Bugs: make sure you file separate issues when you find bugs. Anyway, great work! Those of you who weren't able to make it, please still chip in! We're closer, but we're not done yet: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-13640 Also, there's lots of work to do on test plans and general organization. Please chip in there as well.
