The source code for http://logback.qos.ch/p2/proper is located at [1]. If I understand correctly, you would like the META-INF/MANFEST.MF file in slf4j.api_1.6.6.jar to be modified so that: Bundle-SymbolicName: slf4j.api becomes Bundle-SymbolicName: org.slf4j.api The artifact slf4j.api_1.6.6.jar is released by the SLF4J project along with the MANFEST.MF file. I don't know if the Bundle-SymbolicName could be changed without negatively impacting users downstream.
