Patch applied. By the way the patch seemed to be between your local file 
and the CVS HEAD. This made it a bit difficult to patch the modified 
version in the release branch...

I am awfully sorry things have become more complicated due to the 
release branch, but I really have no better idea. I hope everyone - 
including myself, still mix up branches sometimes :( - will get used to 
this soon.
