I'm getting started with the new beta and just tried running the demo tomcat 4.1.29 app with the default domain.xml.
The only thing I changed in Domain.xml was that I let everyone including the root user have empty passwords.
Then I connected with OSX to http://localhost:8080/slide as root and tried to copy a simple pdf file to the Files folder.
The copy dialog went:
Copying "Layout-B12.4.2.pdf" to "Files"
Failed!
"The operation cannot be completed because the item "Layout-B12.4.2.pdf" is in use"
The file will show up in the Files folder if I connect again but it has zero content. What's going on?
