Seriously, Slide has a whole lot of dependencies and thus simply doesn't get built by Gump at all for longer periods of time (when one of its dependencies is broken and doesn't get fixed). This means that things slip in and are not noticed for a longer time, which in turn means more cleanup work to do.
For the same reasons it is more vulnerable to API changes in other projects. I don't dare to build Slide against httpclient's CVS HEAD instead of the 2.x branch for this reason.
What surprises me is that things like the current problem don't get caught by non-Gump builds, since it is a Slide internal incompatibility. I understand that you didn't notice it, when you code compiled cleanly but you simply forgot to commit it.
Right! And obviously no one updated my changes and did a build afterwards.
